Artist StatementI found this project to be very hard. At first I didn't know what to do, I looked online but didn't find anything that caught my eye. So I decided just to cut and see what would come out of it. It took a flower shape and I went along with it. It was frustrating to add color, every so often a petal would break. I kept moving with it though and I guess it looks like a flower. This is for sure the worst thing I've created in Art. I am not proud and I didn't achieve my goal
This art piece was made by Andrea, Noah, and myself. When we first started we were going for an 80's themed look. Slowly we started to realize that it wouldn't turn out that way, it looked more like space: hints, the name. I really enjoyed working with my group. Sure we went through some up and downs when we didn't agree on something but we made things work. If we ever did something that we didn't like we would simply just go over it with, so working with acrylic paint had its advantages. The final piece was definitely not how I imagined it but the end result turned out even better!
